It should be accompanied by a clear and specific description of the requested change. Providing the new sentences or code in your request, if possible, will expedite the process. The template should not be used on [[wikipedia:Wikipedia:Protection policy|semiprotected]] pages, as no administrator assistance is required to edit them.

Administrators may decline to make any edit, especially if it is controversial, violates Wikipedia [[wikipedia:Wikipedia:List of policies|policy]], or does not have evidence of consensus.

The talk page on which the request is placed is automatically categorised into [[:Category:XentaxWiki protected edit requests]]. Administrators will check this category for protected edit requests to process.
