== DEFLoad ==<br />

A graphical utility to view scenes described by DEF files. Make sure that the<br />
artbases (i. e. the TT files) extracted from the respective SECTION?.HAG are<br />
located in the same directory as the DEF file you wish to load. Otherwise,<br />
loading the scene will fail.<br />
<br />
Using the checkboxes, you can control which additional elements (such as hotspot<br />
locations) should be shown on top of the scene's background. Pointing the mouse<br />
at a hotspot will "activate" it and reveal some information regarding object<br />
names and verbs associated with this particular hotspot in the application's<br />
status bar. Note that multiple overlapping hotspot regions can be active at the<br />
same time.<br />

The "Export DEF" button currently does not serve any real purpose as .DEF files<br />
are text files anyway. Using the "Export BMP" function however, you may take a<br />
snapshot of the currently viewed content.<br />
