There seems to be an confusion on EA archives.
Let's remember that EA has created multiple types of BIG/VIV archives and each of them has unique file format.
Here are the articles to describe them all:
- EA BIG BIGF Archive - BIGF/BIGH type, probably it is most popular type.
- EA VIV BIG4 - BIG4 type
- EA VIV BIG 192 251 - this type always starts with 0xC0 0xFB bytes.
- EA BIG EB - this type uses "EB" string as a signature.
