Different versions of EA BIG/VIV archives

EA has created multiple types of BIG/VIV archives and each of them has unique file format.

Here are the wiki articles to describe them all:

  • EA BIG BIGF Archive - BIGF/BIGH type, probably it is most popular type.
  • EA VIV BIG4 - BIG4 type
  • BIG3 type - seen only in FIFA Street (PS2). Needs more investigation.
  • EA VIV BIG 192 251 - this type always starts with 0xC0 0xFB bytes.
  • EA BIG EB - this type uses "EB" string as a signature.
  • BIG (BIG4) / BH (ViV4) pair - used in FIFA 09 on PS3.
