jRipper is a tool developed primarly to open any kind of file you might find in games, not just game archives, making possible editing of games.

Here is a list of some of the features of jR 1.02 (first public version, more to come)

  • Supports games from PC platforms (soon XBOX and PSX)
  • Extract files from different game archives
  • Preview of images, including advanced info for .BMP files
  • Advanced text editor
